Private airfield in Lucas, Texas. One turf runway, 14/32, and a hangar full of experimental aircraft. The wind right now is below; the full picture is one click away.
Runway 14/32 is 865 feet of turf with obstacles off both ends, so plan on about 600 feet usable. Know your airplane's numbers and come in on speed. The runway slopes up to the northwest: land on 32 (uphill) and depart on 14 (downhill) whenever the wind allows, and only take 14 for landing when the tailwind on 32 gets meaningful. The sock is near midfield. Check the live wind above before you commit, and expect the turf to be soft after rain.
Nearest reporting weather is McKinney (KTKI), about 5 miles northwest. Our on-field station reports every few minutes and feeds the wind card above.

Aeroplex Airfield is a private strip on the north edge of the Dallas–Fort Worth area, home base for a small group of pilots who build and fly experimental aircraft. Most of what lives in the hangars here was built by the people who fly it.
The field also hosts the AeroPlex Labs workshop, where AeroGuard aircraft cleaner and protectant is made and tested on real airplanes that live outside in Texas weather.
